Meet the founders of Moon Vine Music, LLC.
Reece Marshburn graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Jazz Studies. Upon graduation, Reece became the band leader onboard the Sternwheeler The Queen of the West where he lead a quartet seven nights a week backing a variety of acts including broadway, country, and big band swing. Reece went on to establish his career as a music director, arranger, and pianist in Portland. He has conducted numerous music theatre productions, including Cabaret at Portland Center Stage with Storm Large. He is currently the music director for The Tony Starlight Show, the Jim Beatty Jazz Band, and Marianna and the Baby Vamps.
Marianna Thielen graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Musical Theatre. She returned to her home state and now resides in Portland, where she spends her time writing, producing, and performing. She can be found in theatres, including the Broadway Rose Theatre Company and in productions at clubs such as Tony Starlight's Supperclub and Lounge. She has even recorded a radio jingle for local company, "Made in Oregon". Marianna leads her band Marianna and the Baby Vamps, for which she directs, choreographs, and writes music.
