Moon Vine Music provided arrangements for this innovative new show offered by the Oregon Ballet Theatre. The show ran concurrent with the Nutcracker, to give audiences a little something new this year. It was so popular that OBT's artistic director, Christopher Stowell, announced that it will become a "new annual OBT event". The show was classy, with dancing from OBT's principal dancers, and music by Richard Bower, Reece Marshburn, and popular Portland area vocalist, Susannah Mars.

Last week, the crowd at Tony Starlight's was blown away by the charisma, talent, and humor presented in this unique "cooperative piano" show. Kurt and Reece covered everything from Irving Berlin to Freddie Mercury. In addition, Marianna Thielen and Reece Marshburn wrote two original songs, specifically for this show. You're watching the title track, "From the Bench".
