Last year, Marianna and Reece were fortunate enough to be able to attend the Johnny Mercer Songwriting Project along with 14 other songwriters from across North America. The master teachers were Craig Carnelia, Lari White and Marcy Heisler. The week concluded with a special concert honoring the work of composer Charles Strouse which featured performances by Christine Ebersole, Charles Strouse, and some of the attendees of the Songwriters' Project.
